A very good question. I started this endeavour to offer competitive and personalised service to customers. It is not my intent to create a bullion 'sausage factory' as there are enough of these already. Therefore, every bullion deal is provided personalised service from a living, breathing human being in keeping with the New Zealand psyche. In this way we offer individualised pricing and service to each and every one of our valued customers based on up to date data. In addition, purchasing bullion is a personal and private matter and we only wish to gain from you as much information as you are willing to provide in order to complete sale and purchase. We don't need to know every personal detail or, as some bullion providers require, contact numbers and financial standing information. Thanks.

This is probably best answered by a question to you; How do you know what spot the price quoted is based on? and therefore how can you trust the price is at the quoted percentage above spot?. Simply put you don't, and this type of marketing can be misleading and open to suppliers skimming above the percentage under the guise of 'shifts in spot'. Also pricing above spot is only relevant when the purchase is being made from the live markets. One of the most concerning practices in New Zealand (in our opinion) is quoting prices linked to live spot on product the seller is already holding. You can bet quoted percentages to customers are not based on the spot the supplier paid for the product!!!.  New Zealander's like to see the price in black and white without fancy equations, guess work or smoke and mirrors. Therefore our prices (although subject to change) are clearly indicated and are reliable to base an initial estimate on. Often, but not always, our subsequently offered price is below that indicated on our site. Our prices take into account a number of fiscal considerations to get product here in New Zealand and available to you when you come calling. Cheers.
